Chiropractic care is about seeking to locate and reducing nervous system interference. If the nervous system is irritated, it can cause muscles to tighten which can cause the vertebra to misalign more which can cause more irritation to the patient.
Not only is chiropractic care helpful for pain relief, but it also can contribute to whole body well-being. Chiropractic allows your body to function at its greatest potential.
Your nervous system has to work correctly; otherwise, you can’t be operating at an optimal capacity. We also address other issues too such as emotional stress or chemical imbalances.
The New Patient Journey
Each treatment plan is individualized to the patient as to what their condition is; there’s an acute stage where you need to be coming in more often at an interval level so you can build up from one adjustment to the next. You will be given periodic examinations to see where you are. About once a month we will reevaluate depending on if the exam shows improvement and then will modify your treatment plan. Our first goal is to get you out of pain and the second is to make a structural correction, so it doesn’t come back.
Helping Patients Feel Comfortable
Dr. Bayrak will ask you if you’ve ever been adjusted before. If you have, he’ll ask you about your experience and if you were fine with it. Rest assured that he will start off lightly and see how you do with it. The first adjustment is always the hardest. If you are hesitant about having a manual adjustment, we offer light-force, instrument-assisted techniques with the ArthroStim®.
